Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 7 quarts popped corn
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup (light) white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Instructions

  1. Place butter, brown sugar, and Karo syrup in sauce pan and bring to boil for 3 minutes.
  2. Add baking soda (will foam up) and stir.
  3. Pour over popped corn and stir.
  4. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  5. Pour out onto wax paper and cool.
