Taco Dip for Chips

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 20 oz. jar medium salsa
  • 12 ounces shredded cheddar
  • 1 package El Paso Taco seasoning
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tomato

Instructions

  1. Add taco seasoning to cream cheese and spread in bottom of 10 inch pie plate.
  2. Brown hamburger, drain fat off, add salsa.
  3. Simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Chop onion and tomato.
  5. Layer hamburger mixture over cream cheese—then layer shredded cheese, then onion, then tomato.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.
