Easy No Boil Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 32 ounces (3 1/2 cups) spaghetti sauce
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 8 ounces (uncooked) lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 3 cups (12 oz.) mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown beef with the onions, drain, and stir in spaghetti sauce and water.
  2. Mix together mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, parsley, and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese.
  3. Spread small amount of spaghetti sauce mixture in 9” by 13” pan (just barely cover bottom of pan).
  4. Top with half of the noodles, then 1/3 sauce, 1/2 cheese mixture.
  5. Make one more layer, noodles, sauce, cheese, and top with remaining sauce.
  6. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake covered with foil for 1 hour.
  8. Let set for a few minutes before cutting.
