Cool Whip Bars

Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup melted margarine

Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cool whip
  • 2 packages instant pudding mix, any flavor
  • 2 1/4 cups milk

Instructions

Crust

  1. Mix together flour and margarine and spread evenly in 9" by 13" pan.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes. Cool.

Filling

  1. In bowl combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cool whip. Spread over cooled crust.
  2. In a separate bowl mix instant pudding mix and milk.
  3. Stir quickly with a fork, when smooth, pour over cream cheese mixture and top with cool whip.
  4. May put chopped nuts, chopped Hersey or Heath candy bar on top of cool whip.
