Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
Wet ingredients
- 2 cups crisco shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 teaspoons vanilla
Dry ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 ounces package chocolate chips
- 1 cup (optional) nuts
Instructions
- Mix together the wet ingredients.
- Add flour and baking soda and mix well.
- Add chips and nuts.
- Drop from teaspoon onto cookie sheet.
- Bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees till lightly browned—do not over bake.
