Ingredients
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, cut in thin slices
- 1 - 21 oz. can crushed cherry pie filling
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Dump undrained pineapple into 9" by 13" pan, spread evenly.
- Dump in the pie filling and spread into even layer.
- Dump dry cake mix onto cherry layer and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle pecans over cake mix.
- Put butter over top.
- Bake for about 50 minutes.
- Serve warm or cooled. Good with a dab fo cool whip on top.
