Hash Brown Potato Casserole

Wonder how many family dinners we've had eating this casserole?????

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

Topping

  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Defrost potatoes and combine with 1/2 cup melted butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese.
  2. Spread into 13" by 9" pan.
  3. Mix corn flakes and the remaining melted butter and put on top of potato mixture.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
