Ingredients
- 1 - 29 oz. can sliced peaches, drained or 5 or 6 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced.
- 5 slices white sandwich bread, crusts trimmed off
- 1 egg
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cube melted margarine
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- Sprinkle of nutmeg
Instructions
- Place peaches in 8” by 11” pan.
- Cut each slice of white bread into 5 strips and place evenly on top of peaches.
- Beat egg and mix together with sugars, flour, and margarine.
- Pour over bread strips.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
